Bio:

Charlie Heimsath, professionally known as DJ TXC, is an Electro-House and Dubstep producer. Born in Austin, Texas, he was off to an early start DJing at the young age of 12, where he got his fist taste of production producing hip-hop tracks with Sinister Sounds in collaboration with Alex Verderber. In 2007, with a move to San Diego, California, TXC made the change to House and Dubstep sounds.

TXC is known for heavy hitting, easy flowing mash-ups of some of the biggest names in the industry. With strong influences from many of these artists, he has moved towards producing some of his own beats. Influenced by numerous genres including dubstep, electro-house, and drum and bass, DJ TXC’s sound is filled with filthy, heavy bass with strong build ups that drop you to the floor. He is a frequent performer in many well know night clubs in San Diego and continues to produce day in and day out. Keep an eye out for his new album to release in fall of 2011 on Beatport.
